Continue working on main characters of Stargate movie. I finished sketching one of characters Daniel Jackson. Here I want to share with you with creating process of artwork.
But first I would like to tell you a little about who is Daniel Jackson and what is the movie Stargate about. Maybe for those who doesnt know.
The story of Stargate SG-1 begins when the United States government learns that an ancient alien device called the Stargate can access a network of such devices on a multitude of planets. SG-1 is an elite United States Air Force special operations team, one of about 20 teams from Earth who explore the galaxy and defend against alien threats such as the Goauld Replicators, and the Ori. The series draws upon Egyptian mythology, Norse mythology, and Arthurian legend.

And now about an art process. As for all characters I began from finding a good photo to start sketch. Photo need to accomplish to a style of other characters sketches. I draw black and white simple sketch using only pencil. Then scan image to Photoshop and all magic just begins! :)
I need to transfer image into white lines on black background. Below you will see how it happens.

Start draw using white artistic brush at another layer that covers main graphics at the background.
